Mixer Warhol

February 17, 2010

Carissa got a new chrome mixer. When I read that she couldn’t keep it on her counter, I decided to make some wall art so she could be inspired to mix fabulous goods! I used GIMP, a free photo program similar to Photoshop, to turn an image into a black background with a colorful outline of the shape.

I checked out pictures of her kitchen to match the colors.

Okay, that’s really cool. Is GIMP a free program?

YES. It’s totally free. Get it! I love the mouseovers that tell you what to do with the tool.

I’ll have to try gimp. I hate appliances on counters. It looks so clutter-y.
