See Spot Run

December 20, 2009

Last Christmas, I learned how to do spot color using Photoshop. I have an old version (6.5!), but I just guess if I find a tutorial that has more advanced instructions.

Here is what to do using Photoshop:
Open your color photograph.
Create a duplicate layer.
Turn this layer black and white. Since my Photoshop version does not have this straight up option, I have different ways of turning things black and white, like desaturation.
Select the eraser and use this tool to paint the parts you want in color! Save your masterpiece.

Order yourself some prints at your favorite photo center (Costco 13-cent prints, what what??) and put into a repurposed, new, or reclaimed frame.
